Our Abby Townhome Series and The Flats have been major contributors to this goal, but our retail is an invaluable piece in making The Rail District complete. We\u2019re excited to introduce the newest addition to the community: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/foxglovefloralcafe\/\"><strong>Foxglove Floral Caf\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>How The Seed Was Planted<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3785 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/infinityproperties.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/foxglove-2-e1690568762650.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"621\" height=\"629\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to co-founders Andrea and Lauren, Foxglove had two different \u201cstarts.\u201d The first was Andrea\u2019s dream to make her love for flowers into a brick and mortar. She originally planned to open a florist shop with an independent caf\u00e9 under the name \u201cFoxglove.\u201d However, the second start came when over time, the plan blended the two into one business. A mutual friend connected full-time nurse Lauren &#8211; who was looking to take on a new challenge &#8211; with Andrea, and Foxglove was born!<\/p>\n<h2>A Unique Space<\/h2>\n<p>Andrea noticed no local businesses that catered to both flowers and coffee, and had always loved the idea of combining both into a unique shopping experience. Foxglove\u2019s business model combines two very different spaces under one roof, and Lauren and Andrea are excited to offer this brand-new experience to the community. <strong>\u201cWe hope it sparks creativity and people feel inspired and uplifted when they come into our space.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3964 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/174.142.205.70\/~newrail\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Header-1-900x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"713\" height=\"475\" srcset=\"http:\/\/174.142.205.70\/~newrail\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Header-1-900x600.jpg 900w, http:\/\/174.142.205.70\/~newrail\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Header-1-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/174.142.205.70\/~newrail\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Header-1-100x67.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 713px) 100vw, 713px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Foxglove operates under five core values, which Lauren calls the caf\u00e9\u2019s \u201cDNA.\u201d These are: creative, joy, quality, hospitable, and organized. The two hope their customers leave with these takeaways after each visit. Simply put, their mission is to \u201cprovide a vibrant and inclusive space for the community to flourish.\u201d Their favourite part of the job is getting the opportunity to work with one another, as well as being able to \u201ccreate things that bring people joy.\u201d <strong>\u201cOur vision and dream for Foxglove is coming together, and it is just so fun sharing that excitement with someone who is just as invested.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Why The Rail District?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3786\" src=\"https:\/\/infinityproperties.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Foxglove-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"621\" height=\"932\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lauren and Andrea always knew that Foxglove needed to exist in Downtown Abby. They both live in the area and wanted to open a space that they themselves would want to experience. After visiting The Rail District, the two knew it would make the perfect home for Foxglove. They \u201cfell in love\u201d with the natural light streaming in, the garage door opening to their own patio space onto the plaza, and the \u201cblank canvas for us to infuse our design and creativity.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Looking Ahead<\/h2>\n<p>Lauren and Andrea are excited to get going! They\u2019re \u201cchomping at the bit\u201d to receive their permits and make their brand-new space welcoming, inclusive, inspiring, and beautiful.
