It can also be hard to know exactly how long a power outage will last in a given situation, so it is best to be well prepared for in advance. For families in BC, you can get started by establishing a plan for when the power shuts off. Keep everyone informed about what to expect and what their role will be in keeping your home and family safe during a power outage.
